I have been focused on planting since the weather has finally warmed up. There is always such a narrow window. And I have not been blogging though I have been steadily working on fiber projects.

Nothing on the Norwegian sweater yet. I have to push myself to get going on that.

I finished spinning the yak down and decided to Navajo ply it for a three ply yarn. I wonder how much of a halo it will have when knitted or woven.

Skeins drying in the sun

I washed and finished these skeins yesterday. Funny how the corriedale second brazilwood dyebath yarn matches my siding.

Remember this basket of odds and ends?
That I carded into these rolags?

Well I spun them up on Marie then plied them with a dark chocolate brown medium fleece of unknown origin.

And this yarn is the result. Will make a nice wooly hat.

As far active knitting goes, I have picked a cotton tank top that I started last year. I am not using a pattern. I finished the back and have started the front, but I have to figure out how to do short row bust shaping on the front.

I finished up this little baby sweater, too. All I had to do was the neck band. Finally the project and the yarn reunited.
